About the Show

What Is Treasures Unearthed?

Every September, the Toledo Gem & Rockhound Club (TGRC) transforms the Wood County Fairgrounds’ Pratt Pavilion into Northwest Ohio’s biggest celebration of rocks, gems, minerals, fossils and handmade jewelry. Treasures Unearthed is the area’s oldest and largest gem & jewelry show โ€” and TGRC’s biggest fundraiser, keeping our clubhouse, classes and youth programs running all year long.

Last year, more than a thousand visitors joined 36 vendors from around the world, along with live demonstrations, hands-on family activities and TGRC’s own display of member-made treasures. This year’s show promises even more.

Family Fun

Bring the Whole Family

Treasures Unearthed is designed with young rockhounds in mind. Our Family Fun area gives kids hands-on, educational activities all weekend: making their own gem tree to take home, hunting for treasure indoors, and exploring the glow-in-the-dark minerals of the Cave of Secrets.

The event aims to be accessible for all guests, with accessible seating and designated parking. If you need an accommodation, please contact us in advance so we can help.
